Indiana grabbed it's first commitment from the loaded Class of 2016 with prospect Grant Gelon.
Grant Gelon has committed to Indiana, he tells me. #iubb

The prospect took his official visit to IU today, was offered a scholarship and committed immediately.
Gelon will be a senior at Crown Point this year. In his junior season, he set a Crown Point school record with 102 made 3-pointers on 43% shooting behind the arc. He caught the attention of Tom Crean, among others, this summer as part of Indiana Elite Central 2016.
At the Adidas Invitational, Gelon had an impressive stretch of 25-for-47 shooting behind the arc to first attract attention from bigger schools like Indiana. He led his team in scoring at the tournament with 14.7 points a game.
Gelon is not listed on 247Sports, nor Scout. We will have more on the commitment in the coming days.
