This refutes the other report from earlier this evening that Blackmon would be transferring from Indiana.
This report, from FanDuel's Tyler Brooke, has since been refuted by multiple other writers. You can read everything we know on the Blackmon situation right here.
Disclaimer: This isn't worth harping on. Bad calls in March happen, and the key is putting yourself in position where such don't have to decide games. But this new angle from SportsCenter this morning makes it 100% clear -- Chatman changes his pivot foot multiple times before bagging the game-winner and keeping the Wolverines' hopes alive.
Welp. While it was always a longshot and the writing had been on the wall for some time now, Rawle Alkins will make his college decision tonight, and it will not be for Indiana. The optimist in me would like to think that the barrels of cash with Rawle's name on it can now have a new postage stamp thrown on the side and directed to #PAYTHONMAKER.
This is hypnotic. Please pull me away from the computer.
Soooo...we got kind of a big FB commit after the PU game. Consensus 4-star, top 100 level player. Pretty cool. And in the category of hilariously early rankings, we currently have a top 25 recruiting class for next year.
Well, that ain't good. Howard, a 4-star PG currently playing for Findlay Prep in Nevada, has canceled his official visit with Indiana that was set for next weekend's IU-Purdue game. Obviously this is not good news for the Hoosiers, who were already considered to be somewhat of a longshot for Howard's services, anyway.
That's 18/18, plus the big addition of Kiante Enis. Now, the fun begins.
Another big piece to Indiana's class is on board. The offensive guard figures to be a big part of Greg Frey's future plans after Dan Feeney. Check out his 247Sports profile here.
The big one is in for Indiana. Jonah Morris, the Ohio linebacker/athlete rated as high as a four-star prospect by some services, has filed his LOI with Indiana. He picked Indiana over Michigan State, Rutgers, Notre Dame, and others.
