Indiana is looking to rebound following a blowout road loss to Nebraska on Wednesday night.

The opportunity? A good Ohio State team in primetime at Assembly Hall. It won’t be an easy one, especially considering the two’s difference in quality of play on the perimeter. At 2-1 in the Big Ten, it’s a game you’d really, really like to have.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game:

When is the game and how can I watch?

Game Date/Time: Saturday, January 6th, 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT

Location: Assembly Hall. Bloomington, Indiana.

TV: FOX

Radio: WHCC 105.1 / WIUX 99.1

Game Notes

Indiana (10-4, 2-1 Big Ten) is coming off of a disappointing outing against Nebraska that resulted in the Hoosiers’ first conference loss.

Kel’el Ware and Xavier Johnson returned to the lineup after absences, the former leading the team with 20 points. Everyone had trouble keeping track of the ball, with 19 Indiana turnovers producing 27 Husker points to sink the game.

Ohio State (12-2, 2-1) looks like a more impressive unit this year than last. Bruce Thornton is playing like one of the best point guards in the country while Roddy Gayle has impressed. Both combine to form a formidable backcourt.

The addition of Jamison Battle gives the Bucks some additional 3-point shooting from the wing. Indiana recruited him this past offseason, but he ultimately chose Columbus. Battle gave Indiana some trouble last year during the Hoosiers’ sole game against Minnesota.

Given Indiana’s troubles defending the arc, it’s something to keep an eye on.

Notables

  • Mike Woodson averaged 20.3 points against Ohio State as a player
  • Malik Reneau scored 15 points with 8 rebounds and three assists off the bench against the Buckeyes last year
