Over the past couple of weeks, Indiana athletic director Scott Dolson has gotten some work done on the football schedule his Hoosiers will play five years from now.
IU announced Tuesday that it will host Colorado State at Memorial Stadium on Sept. 5, 2026, marking the second addition to that season’s schedule since April 20. Last month, Indiana revealed that it has officially moved last season’s canceled trip to UConn to the 2026 season, as well.
The Rams went to five consecutive bowl games from 2013 through 2017 — including a 10-win season in 2014 — but have gone just 8-20 over the past three campaigns. Last year, the program managed to get in only four games. Of course, it’s anyone’s guess what head coach Steve Addazio’s group will look like later this decade. Addazio, as you may recall, spent three seasons at IU working under Gerry DiNardo, serving as the offensive coordinator in 2004.
With Colorado State now on the books, here’s how IU’s non-conference schedules currently break down over the next 10 years:
