Here’s how alumni of the Indiana football program performed in the NFL in Week 9. They’re listed in alphabetical order by team name.
OT Jason Spriggs, Atlanta Falcons
Spriggs played just three offensive snaps in the Falcons’ 27-25 win over the Saints.
TE Ian Thomas, Carolina Panthers
Thomas played 38 offensive snaps in the Panthers’ win, which marked the sixth time this season that he played at least 60 percent of the team’s snaps. He was targeted twice and finished with one catch for nine yards.
S Jamar Johnson, Denver Broncos
Johnson was inactive for the ninth week in a row.
RB Tevin Coleman, New York Jets
Coleman was sidelined for the fourth week in a row after suffering a hamstring injury.
OG Dan Feeney, New York Jets
For the second week in a row, Feeney played just one offensive snap. The Jets lost to the Colts 45-30.
RB Jordan Howard, Philadelphia Eagles
Howard played 23 offensive snaps – seven more than Week 8 – and he led the team with 17 carries for 71 rushing yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ 27-24 loss to the Chargers.
QB Nate Sudfeld, San Francisco 49ers
Sudfeld didn’t see any action in Week 9.
OT Roger Saffold, Tennessee Titans
Roger Saffold played 98 percent of the Titans’ offensive snaps in their 28-16 win over the Rams.
WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans
Westbrook-Ikhine played 22 offensive snaps in the Titans’ victory, which marked the fourth consecutive week his snap count was in the 20s. He caught the only ball that was thrown his way for a 14-yard gain.
