After the Big Ten went out of its way to screw Indiana not once, but twice last month, the Hoosiers had two options.
They could caravan to Rosemont, Ill. and protest outside the league’s hybrid Harley-Davidson/Fogo de Chao/conference office complex. Or they could take a more cutting approach. IU (smartly) opted for the latter, covering up the Big Ten logo on its uniforms and helmets ahead of Saturday’s Outback Bowl game against Ole Miss.
Eagle-eyed IU fan and uniform enthusiast Ryan Cotter spotted the change, which can be seen in photos and videos posted by IU’s social media team over the past few days.
After being snubbed of a Citrus Bowl appearance it appears Indiana will not have any Big Ten logos on their uniforms for the Outback Bowl. #iufb

It’s worth noting that Indiana wore last year’s Gator Bowl patch on the opposite shoulder, just above the adidas logo. On Ole Miss’ jerseys for Saturday, the Rebels are wearing the Outback Bowl patch on the left breast, opposite the Southeastern Conference logo.
