Indiana's poor shooting a factor in embarassing 57-49 loss at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE IN. Indiana continue there road struggles losing to rival Purdue in an embarrassing game of shooting with an abysmal shooting % of 25.4. No one could get a groove going and the team struggled to play together tallying 13 turnovers.

Devonte Green led the team in points with 11, while also leading the team in turnovers with 4. Star freshman, Trayce Jackson-Davis couldn't get anything going only getting 6 points in a rather forgettable night for him. Although, Race Thompson looked fairly decent tonight even though he had 6 points too while also collecting 8 rebounds. Joey Brunk had quite the night too grabbing 7 boards.

Indiana (18-10) fall to a concerning 2-7 record on the road and that won't turn many heads going into March when the committee meets. Indiana needs a convincing road win (Illinois only road game left) to give them some leeway before the B1G Tournament begins to give them some breathing room and maybe slot in to a middle of the road seed. They're currently projected to be a 9 seed.

Indiana hasn't beaten Purdue since February of 2016
