It’s happening.

For the first time in program history, Indiana has moved into the top 10 of the Amway Coaches Poll. The Hoosiers debuted at No. 10 in this week’s set of rankings, jumping three spots after handling Michigan on Saturday afternoon in Bloomington.

IU’s 3-0 start to Big Ten play is the program’s best start since beating Northwestern, Ohio State and Minnesota to open the 1988 conference schedule. Indiana also started 3-0 in conference play in 1988 (3-0), 1987 (4-0), and 1967 (5-0)

The Hoosiers now await their placement in the Associated Press top 25, which will be released later Sunday afternoon.
