The news we’ve waited two months to hear is finally here.

Indiana and Western Kentucky have rescheduled for 2029. The Hoosiers and Hilltoppers were originally supposed to meet in Bloomington on Sept. 15, 2029, but, ya know, things happened.

The two schools have had an interesting scheduling adventure since signing a three-game contract in April 2015. The original deal called for two games in Bloomington in 2019 and 2020, followed by an IU trip to Bowling Green, Ky. in 2021. Two years ago, however, Western Kentucky had the 2019 contest moved to 2022 in order to fit in a game at Arkansas. The series is currently set to begin next fall at WKU.
