There will be plenty of time to tailgate in your driveway or backyard next weekend.
Indiana announced Monday that its Oct. 24 season opener against Penn State will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern and air on FS1. So far, this is the only kick time the Big Ten has assigned to IU, though if the league’s track record can be used as a guide, we should have clarity on the Hoosiers’ Oct. 31 kickoff at Rutgers within the next week, as well.
Monday’s announcement also clears up any confusion regarding the date of IU’s first game of the year. IU coach Tom Allen mentioned early in fall camp that his program was preparing for the possibility of hosting the Nittany Lions on Friday, Oct. 23. But that won’t be the case.
