Center Hunter Littlejohn was named to to Rimington Trophy Watch List, according to the Rimington Trophy Award website. The award is given annually to the most outstanding center in the FBS.
Littlejohn will be entering his fifth season in Bloomington after redshirting in 2015, his true freshman season.
He played all 12 games last season and helped contribute to an Indiana offense that ranked second in the Big Ten in first downs per game, and personally allowed only three sacks in over 900 snaps.
Littlejohn is one of nine Big Ten players named on the watch list and one of six in the Big Ten East division.
The news comes just days after sophomore running back Stevie Scott was named to both the Doak Walker and Maxwell Award watch lists.
An Indiana player has never won the Rimington Trophy, but since its inaugural season in 2000, eight players from current Big Ten schools have won the award.
