Kym Rosyter will suit up professionally next season after the former Hoosier signed a contract to play for Žabiny Brno in Brno, Czech Republic.
After signing, Royster said the following in an IU press release:
“I’m blessed to have this opportunity to continue doing something I love on the professional level. I’m excited to go overseas and not only play ball, but to travel and see the world! I look forward to competing and being a part of the run towards a league championship.”
A member of the Czech Republic’s highly competitive league (ZBL), Žabiny Brno finished in second place just last season. After such success, head coach Jakub Gazda said in the release the team was looking for someone who is a “hard-worker, team player, unselfish and coachable.”
Royster is fresh off a season in which she averaged 6.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, along with a career-high 58.4% field goal percentage
