2019 4-star shooting guard Lester Quinones chooses Memphis

Despite Indiana making his final two after eliminating Maryland, Michigan, and LSU, 4-star shooting guard Lester Quinones has committed to Penny Hardaway and the Memphis Tigers.

This is hardly a surprise, Memphis lead this recruitment wire-to-wire and despite making up significant ground following the departure of Romeo Langford, Archie Miller and co. could not pry the IMG Academy Product away to Bloomington.

As it stands now, Indiana will head into next season with just a three-man class, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality, as it is headlined by Indiana’s Mr. Basketball, Trayce Jackson-Davis, along with top-150 Armaan Franklin and former 4-star big man Joey Brunk via transfer from Butler.

It’s a top-50 class (for now) and 6th in the Big Ten, neither is a particularly impressive number for a program that is used to being near the top of both rankings. The Hoosiers have two scholarships left to try and shore up the class before the season starts, but time is running out.
