The Indiana football Hoosiers are one game away from six wins and bowl eligibility after a big win on the road against Maryland. In this week’s episode of The Podcast Was Good, Jacob is by himself and starts off by discussing takeaways from the that win over the Terrapins.
Strong performances from Peyton Ramsey and the offensive line helped overshadow the poor play of the Hoosier defense to come away with a road win that in past years would have played out different for Indiana.
After the recap of the win, Jacob gives some stats about Indiana securing bowl eligibility in the past and how many eight- and nine-win seasons the Hoosiers have had in the past. Then, he takes a look at the Nebraska team that will line up across from Indiana on Saturday. Much like the Hoosiers, the Huskers have quarterback injuries that run even deeper with both the starter and questionable coming into the game.
To wrap things up, Jacob talks about Indiana men’s soccer, their loss to Maryland and where they stand in the Big Ten standings while offering a preview preview to Hoosiers in the NBA this season.
