On Friday night Indiana booked their second College Cup trip in a row with a 1-0 win over Notre Dame in Bloomington.

The two teams played a back and forth first half, going to the locker room with a scoreless draw despire both teams getting chances to score. Thesecond half started in a similar manner until the Hoosiers broke through.

In the 64th minute Andrew Gutman sent a cross from the left wing to the far post where Austin Panchot was wide open for the finish.

The eighth largest crowd in the IU history—5,159 people—went crazy as the Hoosiers took a lead they wouldn't relinquish. Following the goal Notre Dame got aggressive, playing physically and trying to create chances, but couldn't find an equalizer.

This will be Indiana's 20th trip to the College Cup, college soccer's final four. They'll face a familiar foe in their next step toward a ninth national championship, as Maryland took down Kentucky to advance on Friday night. They'll take on the Terps on December 7 in Santa Barbara.
