Indiana Hoosiers at Michigan State Spartans: GAMETHREAD

Come discuss the game with us!

Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

REMINDER: THIS GAME IS ON FOX SPORTS ONE AND IT'S ON A FRIDAY NIGHT WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THIS COUNTRY

Sorry for the lack of game preview, but here's a quick snapshot:

Indiana isn't great but they're 4-2 in the Big Ten and playing much better basketball lately. Michigan State, on the other stand, started the year 15-1, with their lone loss coming by single digits to Duke on a neutral court. But they're in the middle of a (somewhat typical) run of poor form since the new year. They've lost two of their last three, with double digit losses to Michigan and Ohio State sandwiched around a narrow victory in overtime over Rutgers. There's no question which team is playing better ball at the moment, but Indiana is going to need more than better form to pull out a victory tonight.

Miles Bridges (surprisingly) eschewed the NBA to return and lead a Spartans squad that is excellent from behind the arc and is one of the elite defenses in the country.

The line is going off at MSU -14.5, so the powers that be don't seem all too concerned with the Spartans skid. Likewise, KenPom sees it as Michigan State by 16.

Go Hoosiers.
