Indiana picked up the commitment from Williams just eight days after he decommitted from Ole Miss. Williams’ exit from the Ole Miss recruiting class comes as no surprise after the program was sent into disarray with coach Hugh Freeze’s resignation.
Indiana was recruiting Williams heavily prior to his commitment to Ole Miss, which made it easy for him to quickly transition to the Hoosiers.
Williams commitment comes a day after he took an unofficial visit to Bloomington.
Williams is the top-ranked corner from the state of Tennessee and he will be joining a class with only one other defensive back in Elijah Rodgers of Blacksburg, South Carolina.
