It appears as though Archie Miller has truly started to build momentum on the recruiting trail after snagging his second recruit for the class of 2018 in four-star forward Jerome Hunter. This comes a day after he added his first recruit as a Hoosier in Race Thompson who appears to be reclassifying to the class of 2017.
Hunter is rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports and is considered to be the 60th-best player in the class overall. He’s also the 15th-ranked small forward and the second-best player in the state of Ohio.

Archie Miller clearly played a very active role in Hunter’s recruitment, as Archie was seen watching Hunter play just this past week.

With 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions leaning 75% Michigan and 25% Ohio State, it appears like Indiana swooped in late to peak Hunter’s interest. Simply following the timeline, Hunter visited Indiana and received an offer from Archie Miller on June 24th. Two days later, Hunter put Indiana in his top-5, and now the athletic forward has committed to the program less than a month later.
