The most notable game between Indiana and Seton Hall came in the 1989 Sweet 16 where the Pirates won 78-65 on their way to a National Runner-up finish. The most recent game between the two sides came in 1998-99 when IU won 83-69.
The series between the Big East and Big Ten started in 2015 when the Hoosiers throttled Creighton at home. Last season, Indiana took on Kansas in Hawaii as opposed to participating in the Gavitt Games.
The two conferences have tied in both seasons of the event. Only Maryland and Villanova have two wins in the games.
