Indiana's Archie Miller will hire Bruiser Flint as an assistant, per a source. Former head coach at both UMass and Drexel. #iubb

It's an interesting hire for Archie Miller, but one explainable that gets back to his Pittsburgh ties — through none other than John Calipari.
Flint was an assistant on Calipari’s Marcus Camby-led UMass team, before taking over the program after the now-Kentucky head man left for the NBA. After 5 okay seasons in Amherst, he departed for Philadelphia where he spent 15 years as Drexel’s head man before being fired in 2016.
Flint, notably, has no experience as a player or coach at the Power 5 level.
Miller still has spots remaining and has no Indiana ties of staff. Could John Groce be next?
