Sources: Juwan Morgan plans to return to Indiana for junior season

With roster speculation rampant after Archie Miller’s hiring at Indiana, at least one integral cog will be back in Bloomington next season.

It’s natural for roster speculation to run rampant after one coach departs a program and another is brought in. But you can chalk another one of Indiana’s key contributors as being part of Archie Miller’s coming roster at Indiana.

Sources close to the situation have told Crimson Quarry that Juwan Morgan plans to return to Bloomington and will not transfer.

Morgan played just under 23 minutes a game during the 2016-2017 season. He averaged 7.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

Morgan’s minutes increased significantly from his freshman year to his sophomore year. Morgan might be the type of player set to thrive in Coach Archie Miller’s offensive sets. He should be able to get to the free throw line more, and be a more consistent scorer for the Hoosiers next season.

Few Indiana players have spoken definitively on their future. DeRon Davis has previously stated, through his high school coach, that he’s “committed” to Indiana.
