Three Hoosiers dismissed from football team

Amidst Archie Madness, Tom Allen and the football program dismissed a trio of players from the team

On Saturday, Indiana football head coach Tom Allen dismissed three players - Danny Cameron, Jordan Fuchs and Wesley Green - from the program. The trio of players were suspended indefinitely in early March.

Fuchs is most-known not for his football contributions, but for his basketball ones as he played a role in the Hoosiers’ NCAA Tournament team in 2015. His role on the football field was expected to be expanded this past fall, but an injury in the opening game cost him his season.

Cameron, meanwhile, is the son of former coach Cam Cameron. Danny spent the last few seasons as a backup quarterback, seeing time in the team’s loss to Penn State after injuries to Nate Sudfeld and Zander Diamont in 2015.

Last season, Cameron did not make an appearance.

Green was a transfer from South Carolina and sat out 2015 due to transfer rules. He saw time in two games this season but was not a major factor in either contest.
