The NBA All-Star weekend is one of the more enjoyable time of the year for fans, coaches and players. Among the festivities are the NBA D-League Dunk Contest and the NBA 3-Point Shootout, both of which were won by Hoosiers.
Eric Gordon took part in the latter and paced the field, finishing with a scorching 24 points.
In the finals against Kyrie Irving, the former came out flat and the latter ran circles around him to capture the title.
Earlier in the day, recent Hoosier Troy Williams took part in the D-League dunk contest and took home the title with some jaw-dropping dunks.
As a state, Indiana was well-represented. Current Pacer and former Michigan Wolverine Glenn Robinson III won the NBA Dunk Contest while Scott Wood, formerly of Marion High School, won the NBA D-League 3-point contest.
Both Gordon and Williams are in the midst of the big seasons in the NBA this season with Gordon a frontrunner for Sixth Man of the Year.
