Michael Ziemba adds to the long list of Hoosier recruits from Indiana, as he will hopefully provide support at the tight end position.

Slap me if you’ve heard this before...

“Tom Allen has landed another talented recruit from Florida.”

*Slap*

Tom Allen is continuing to prove his knowledge of Florida high school football, as Michael Ziemba now adds to the long list of Florida Hoosiers.

HOW HE STACKS UP

According to 247 Sports, Ziemba is the 54th best tight end in the country, and 158th best recruit in the state of Florida.

The 6-3 245 pound Lake Mary, Florida native unfortunately had his senior season end short thanks to a broken bone in his foot. With that said, Ziemba did snag 21 balls for 300 yards and four touchdowns in his freshman year.

Ziemba was also considering offers from Purdue, Syracuse, East Carolina and Tulane.

WHAT IT MEANS FOR INDIANA

Thanks to an early injury to Jordan Fuchs, Indiana sincerely lacked production from the tight end position last season. Now, Tom Allen will take all the reinforcements he can get. Ziemba can be one of those reinforcements, as long he doesn’t choose to play defensive end instead.
