3-Star outside linebacker Micah McFadden has signed to play at Indiana. McFadden committed to Indiana on July 30 after an unofficial visit the week before. He also had offers from Boston College, Southern miss, Toledo, and Massachusetts. McFadden played high school ball alongside current Hoosiers Juwan Burgess, Whop Philyor, and Thomas Allen.
The 6’1”, 220-pound recruit racked up 211 tackles as a senior, including 39 tackles for a loss and 7 sacks. He also intercepted a pass and recovered a pair of fumbles. He played fullback too, scoring 4 touchdowns and gaining 36 yards on 8 carries.
McFadden enters a position group that will be looking for help wherever they can get it after losing stalwarts Tegray Scales and Chris Covington as well as 2017 backup Dameon Willis Jr.
