3-star cornerback Elijah Rodgers has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Indiana.

The South Carolina recruit was the second member of IU’s 2018 recruiting class, as he committed to Indiana on April 1. He also had offers from Purdue, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, and BYU among others. He was ranked 24th out of the recruits in the state of South Carolina and 148th among all cornerbacks nationally.
Rodgers was named the South Carolina 2A Upper State Back of the Year after his senior year. He is also a two-sport athlete, as he plays basketball.
With the graduation of Rashard Fant, Rodgers may get the chance to see the field early for the Hoosiers. His 6’1” frame is a plus on the outside. Here are the highlights from Rodgers’ senior year:
