The 3-star recruit out of Chicago lined up at tight end, wide receiver, and defensive end for Marist High School last season. He caught 20 passes for over 300 yards and 7 touchdowns. On defense, he registered 6 tackles and .5 sacks. He was teammates with fellow Indiana signee Gavin McCabe.
Ivy was originally committed to West Virginia in June, but decommitted in October. Four days after his decommitment from WVU Ivy committed to play for Indiana on October 23. He also had offers from Purdue, Iowa, Illinois, and rutger among others.
