What’s already a strong unit for the Hoosiers will get more depth, as 3-star wide receiver Jacolby Hewitt has signed to play for Indiana.

Hewitt is the 149th ranked wide receiver in the country and the 32nd ranked player in Tennessee. He committed to play in Bloomington on June 10 and had offers from Purdue and Memphis among others.
As a senior Hewitt caught 54 passes and racked up 1070 yards including a 72-yarder and 14 touchdowns. He also returned kicks for Cordova High School, gaining 285 yards on 15 returns. The versatile wide receiver also had a pair of rushing attempts, on which he gained 58 yards and a touchdown.
Hewitt also played on the defensive side of the ball for Cordova. He made 5 tackles, forced a fumble, deflected a pass, and made an interception.
Hewitt will more than likely be buried behind some talented receivers on the depth chart if everything goes as planned in Bloomington, but when was the last time that happened? Look to see if Hewitt can work his way onto the field on special teams.
