Norris is a 3-star prospect from Fishers, IN. He also had offers from Purdue, Louisville, Minnesota, and rutger and committed to Indiana on October 6 after an unofficial visit to Bloomington in September. He was the 55th ranked defensive lineman in the country, and the 11th ranked prospect in the state of Indiana.
The 6’4”, 200-pound defensive lineman made 38 total tackles as a senior including one tackle for loss while dealing with a leg injury as a senior. During his junior year he was more productive, racking up 67 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and a pair of sacks to go along with a fumble recovery.
Norris will join a defensive line corps that will be missing some key contributors from last season like Greg Gooch, Nate Hoff, and Robert McCray.
