Purdue fans were right. It seems as if Indiana will never again hold the bucket in Bloomington in the Jeff Brohm era.
Because it might have only lasted one season.
According to longtime Tennessee reporter Jimmy Hyams, the long, protracted, and very stupid coaching search John Currie’s led in Knoxville is about to end — at the Vols will announce the hiring of Jeff Brohm shortly.
Tennessee will soon announce the hiring of Purdue coach Jeff Brohm after going 6-6 this year. Brohm was 30-10 at Western Kentucky. Buyout is $5 million, drops to $4 million Dec 5. Still owes Purdue about $750k for leaving WKY.

This is a good day for Indiana football, and an especially good day if you’re an Indiana football fan that keeps a secondary allegiance and closet full of orange clothes and have strong opinions on Phil Fulmer and have family in Oak Ridge and still idolize Johnny Majors a bit. This is definitely not me. No sir..
rdue. I am hooting and hollering.
We’ll update this as we know more.
UPDATE: Hold on folks. This is far from over.
SOURCE: Nothing is imminent regarding a #Tennessee coaching hire. Reports that a deal is almost done w/ #Purdue coach Jeff Brohm are not accurate.
