After spending two seasons in Bloomington and playing an important role in last season’s Big Ten championship team, Nick Zeisloft has signed a partially-guaranteed deal with the Indiana Pacers.

With the Hoosiers, Zeisloft averaged 6.5 points per game as a senior, knocking down 41.7% of his three-pointers last season, down from his 45% rate in his junior season.

The Pacers’ training camp roster is now at 19. With active rosters during the season set at 15 and the Pacers already having 15 guaranteed contracts, Zeisloft will have an uphill battle to make an NBA roster.

More likely, Zeisloft will have the opportunity to impress Pacer and other NBA GMs and teams and hope to earn a D-League contract. With not having played in the NBA Summer League, Zeisloft is a mainly unknown quantity among NBA teams.
