As first reported by Mike Miller of The Herald Times, Allison Hoeppner was killed in an automobile accident in Bloomington early on Saturday morning.

Miller also reported details of the accident obtained from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident with possible entrapment at 12:12 a.m. at intersection of State Road 37 & Old SR 37.

Hoeppner’s late father, Terry, was named Indiana’s head football coach in 2005. He passed away in 2007 while on medical leave due to brain cancer.
