What would Indiana's all-time roster look like on 2K17?

With college basketball *kinda* making its way back to video games, IU should not be far behind if new teams are added soon.

With the details of the college basketball download that has been added to the newly-released NBA 2K17 finally out today, Indiana cannot be far behind on the list of teams that are sure to be included if this idea grows in subsequent releases.

So, let's help the powers-that-be at 2K headquarters with their research, and give a 13-man roster of IU alums that should appear when the Hoosiers are inevitably included among these teams.

It appears that the rosters for these teams were selected based off not just their college play or just their NBA careers. Take a look at who 2K chose for Illinois and Michigan State, for example. Dee Brown barely sniffed the NBA, but hes rated as a 91 here, yet Zach Randolph was a good-not-great one-and-done at MSU, but is included here with a mediocre-as-hell 84 rating over much more deserving competition, presumably because of his legendary old-man-at-the-Y NBA career.

As a #millennial, I chose to value recency over historical significance for my team and ignored players that would be garbage in a 2K video game. No one buys a video game to play fundamental defense or use solid post moves with Kent Benson, just as Tom Coverdale's grit and intangibles were admirable in real life, but is literally the last thing I care about in the 2K world. I need to be wowed by athleticism and/or God-like shooting because that's all my attention span allows for, which explains my inclusion of Victor Oladipo in the starting lineup.

My Indiana 2K17 Roster:

PG: Isiah Thomas, Quinn Buckner, Yogi Ferrell

SG: Victor Oladipo, Steve Alford, Eric Gordon

SF: Calbert Cheaney, Christian Watford

PF: George McGinnis, Scott May, Alan Henderson

C: Walt Bellamy, Cody Zeller
