5-star 2017 F Michael Porter commits to Washington

The #5 ranked player in the class of 2017 makes the call to stay in the family at Washington.

Just like that, a major name is off the board for the class of 2017.  Michael Porter, an almost-surefire lock to be a lottery pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, decided on where he will be playing his college ball tonight.

Porter had heavy interest from almost every major program, however Indiana had seemed to stick around with some good selling points, considering Porter grew up in the state before his dad took a job at Mizzou. The writing seemed to be on the wall though after his father took a job as an assistant at Washington, the school where his brother Jontay is currently on the roster.

Below is a reminder of what Porter was capable of as a 15 year old. At least the Hoosiers won't have to see him destroy people's souls in the B1G.
