Simmie Cobbs and Ricky Jones appear on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Watch lists are what they are. No, they don't have an impact on the final award and no, they aren't particularly prestigious given how many names appear on the list every year. But as we slog through the summer waiting for football kick off, we'll take any morsel of validation that we can get.

Simmie Cobbs, Ricky Jones both on Biletnikoff Award Watch List. Only one other Big Ten team, Nebraska, has two players on the list. #iufb

The Hoosiers are still trying to find an answer at quarterback after Nate Sudfeld's departure, but whoever is handed the keys to one of the Big Ten's most potent offenses will still have Sudfeld's top targets at his disposal, and at least one committee recognizes that Cobbs and Jones are among the best wide receivers in the game right now.

Simmie and Ricky, much like the kick, are good.
