Williams declared for the draft following the season to take part in the NBA Draft Combine and workouts with teams. Despite what was generally considered a bad performance at the Combine to go along with an already shaky draft stock, Williams will stay in the Draft.

Draft Express still does not have Williams listed in their 2016 mock draft and have him listed as the 86th-best prospect overall.

Sam Vecenie of CBS Sports did not have a glowing review of Williams' performance at the combine, going as far to say it seemed unlikely he'd be drafted.

There's definitely a player within his package of skills but he must get his more wild tendencies under control. But right now, it's tough to see a team investing a draft pick in him.

Nonetheless, at his best as "Good Troy", Williams is more than worthy of a draft pick.

Last season, Williams helped lead the Hoosiers 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds to earn All-Big Ten third team honors. His performance in the Round of 32 helped the Hoosiers upend Kentucky to advance to the Sweet 16. In the team's final game against North Carolina, Williams finished with 21 points on 5-of-8 three-point shooting.
