Some nice little recruiting action has come through the wires on the eve of the final college basketball game of the season. Per Jonathan Givony of Draft Express:
New on DX: Thon Maker Eschews College Basketball -Will Attempt to Enter NBA Draft (with new scouting videos)https://t.co/FsgH3a0byz

The idea of Thon suiting up in the cream and crimson was always a nice dream, but since crazier things have happened and Thon appeared to have genuine interest in Indiana's program, we beat the #PAYTHONMAKER drum until the very end.
Now it appears, after months of statements to the contrary, that he will skip college and enter the 2016 NBA Draft. There's going to be a lengthy process that will determine if Thon is actually eligible for the Draft, but regardless of the outcome, it appears that a decision to not play for a college team is 2016-17 is the one thing we can count on, especially based off of information such as this tweet from Jeff Rabjohns.
Thon Maker's guardian said several times "He's not going through what Cheick (Diallo) went through." Diallo had to sit out to start at KU.

Because it's Thon Maker that we're dealing with, there are sure to be a lot of twists and turns in this story still to come. We will update as more information becomes available.
