Women's Basketball
Head Coach Teri Moren was named Big Ten Coach of the Year, becoming the first IU Women's Basketball coach to earn that honor in over 30 years. The conference also announced that Tyra Buss earned First Team All-Conference Honors and Amanda Cahill earned Second Team All-Conference from the media.
Men's Golf
Indiana is just four shots off the team lead at the 2016 Loyola Intercollegiate, sitting in third place after two rounds. The Hoosiers also have two individuals within six shots of the lead after 36 holes, with today's final round set to determine whether IU can come back home with some trophies.
Football
Darius Latham turned in a good performance at the NFL Combine, and should be in good shape to impress scouts at Indiana's April 1st Pro Day.
Softball
For the second straight week, an Indiana pitcher earned Freshman of the Week honors. This week, Tara Trainer had a 2-1 weekend in four appearances, with just a 1.79 ERA and 24 strikeouts.
Women's Tennis
Indiana grabbed both halves of a weekend doubleheader, downing Marquette and Eastern Illinois at the IU Tennis Center. Marquette fell 5-2 in the early half, while Eastern Illinois benefitted from an Indiana default at #6 singles to come up just short in a 4-3 outcome.
