Troy Williams started for three seasons for the Indiana Hoosiers. Along the way, he sometimes did good things and other times did bad things. Despite this reputation, I thought he was underappreciated while at IU, and I’m glad that although he went undrafted, he’s found a home in the NBA with the Grizzlies.
Tonight in Memphis against the lowly Philadelphia Process-Trusters, Williams made a shot that has embodied his career thus far. Here, Troy gets the ball and enters the lane, then throws up a shot while falling to the ground. Of course, the shot swishes right into the basket.

Troy Williams has been a pleasant surprise in the early part of his rookie NBA season and it looks like he’ll be making an impact on an injury-plagued Grizzlies team this year.
