Utah 26, Indiana 24: Again.

Indiana’s first game under Tom Allen looked, well, familiar. But there’s plenty to be excited about heading into 2017.

Indiana almost did it. Again. It’s late. Here’s some quick reaction and we’ll do a full post-mortem tomorrow.

Tom Allen proved tonight he’s the right man for Indiana going forward.

Players bought in. The defense was solid. The lone area of concern, the offensive playcalling & gameplan, looked extremely well-put together for this matchup from Kevin Johns. I’ve no concerns going forward about this program, and found myself tonight finding Allen able to do things throughout the game that Wilson, well, didn’t.

Indiana’s offense didn’t even play well -- and still took a Pac-12 contender to the final play

Richard Lagow had one of his poorest performances of the season in terms of efficiency. Wideouts had drops. Things weren’t clicking. But Indiana’s a bona fide good team, and they’ll return basically everything next year. With a favorable schedule, this team should win 8 or more games next season.

Laughing my ass off at this The Kick Was Good shirt I’m wearing, I guess.

Lmao.
