Hoosiers land 3-star LB, former Tennessee commit

The Indiana Hoosiers’ momentum on the recruiting trail can be stopped be neither Christmas nor the Hoosiers being on the West Coast practicing for the Foster Farms Bowl.

Former Tennessee commit Mo Burnham chose the Hoosiers on Christmas Day, further solidifying what has been a very strong defensive class for the Hoosiers.

Burnham had previously committed to the Volunteers in March before taking an official visit with IU on December 9. Three days later, the Georgia-native decommitted and two weeks later, he became a Hoosier.

Louisville, West Virginia, Florida State and Oregon all had offered Burnham but the Hoosiers landed his services, making him the 18th member of the class. Eleven members of the class are defensive players and with Burnham ranking as the highest linebacker in the class for the Hoosiers.
