Big news for Indiana fans to start your Thursday morning: Indiana’s OG Anunoby will return to Tom Crean’s lineup and play Saturday against Butler.
ESPN’s Andy Katz had the report first:
The Indiana Hoosiers will get OG Anunoby back for Saturday's rivalry game against Butler in Indianapolis after he missed the last three games with a left ankle sprain.
Indiana coach Tom Crean said in a text Thursday that Anunoby will play, but he's not sure if he will start against the No. 18 Bulldogs (9-1). The No. 9 Hoosiers (8-1) have won the last three games against low Division I teams without Anunoby. He suffered the injury in the Hoosiers 76-67 victory over North Carolina on Nov. 30.
9th ranked Indiana and #18 Butler will take the court at roughly 5pm Saturday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse as part of the Crossroads Classic on the Big Ten Network.
