For the second straight season, Dan Feeney is an AP-All American.
He makes the team as a guard, despite missing a good chunk of the 2016 season with a concussion -- and flipping to play the tackle position later.
Indiana junior linebacker Tegray Scales, the nation’s second-leading tackler and the Big Ten’s leader in tackles & tackles for loss, did not make either team. Three other Big Ten linebackers — Jabrill Peppers, TJ Watt, and Raekwon McMillan — made the team. Of the three, only Watt’s 10 sacks rank better than Scales in any defensive statistical category.
Feeney will play in the Senior Bowl after concluding his Indiana career in the Foster Farms Bowl later this month. He’s projected to be a first or second round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
