Here’s what Indiana players are saying about Kevin Wilson’s dismissal after mistreatment allegations

Dominique Booth’s cryptic tweets may hint at a story behind the departure.

After news broke of Kevin WIlson’s dismissal at Indiana this afternoon, both current and former Wilson players spoke out en masse on Twitter about the coaches’ dismissal.

Dominique Booth, the former four-star WR out of Indianapolis who failed to gain ‘medical clearance’ this season but remained as a student coach, was the most outspoken on Twitter.

Here was a tweet from Booth this morning, well prior to any news becoming public of a Wilson departure:

IU linebacker Chris Covington tweeted support for Booth, but then deleted:

Former Oklahoma player Gabe Ikard came forward with a story of playing under Wilson, but followed this with tweets noting an overall positive experience of playing under the coach.

Former IU walk-on Ty Smith, son of former baseball coach Tracy Smith:

Wilson’s supporters on Twitter, however, may have been more numerous.
