After news broke of Kevin WIlson’s dismissal at Indiana this afternoon, both current and former Wilson players spoke out en masse on Twitter about the coaches’ dismissal.
Dominique Booth, the former four-star WR out of Indianapolis who failed to gain ‘medical clearance’ this season but remained as a student coach, was the most outspoken on Twitter.
Amen

If y'all think one player can influence a decision like this, all I got is prayers for you.

Here was a tweet from Booth this morning, well prior to any news becoming public of a Wilson departure:
The man that holds his tongue, is as equal as the wicked to me.

IU linebacker Chris Covington tweeted support for Booth, but then deleted:

Former Oklahoma player Gabe Ikard came forward with a story of playing under Wilson, but followed this with tweets noting an overall positive experience of playing under the coach.
Kevin Wilson once ripped my buckled helmet off my head, spit on my jersey, & punched me in chest during practice.

But the guy could coach.
Former IU walk-on Ty Smith, son of former baseball coach Tracy Smith:
I've been around many quality Coaches/People in my life and I can tell you from first hand experience... that man isn't in that category.

Wilson’s supporters on Twitter, however, may have been more numerous.
Richard Lagow, who Wilson brought to IU to be his starting QB this season:
Wow

Former IU wideout Shane Wynn:
