After being the final cut following the preseason, former Hoosier guard Yogi Ferrell will be signed by the Brooklyn Nets after guard Greivis Vasquez went down with an ankle injury.

Ferrell was preparing to play for the Nets’ D-League affiliate, but had not played a game yet. In the preseason, Ferrell averaged 4.3 points, 1.7 assists and shot 50 percent from three on 2-of-4 shooting.
