Indiana freshman Curtis Jones was named co-Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Monday following his clutch performance for the Hoosiers in their win over Kansas.
Jones scored 15 points on the night, seven of those coming in overtime. Jones knocked down a big step-back three, a pair of free throws and the game-sealing dunk in the closing seconds. Jones also added an assist and a rebound, doing all of it in just 16 minutes.
Jones joins former high school teammate Miles Bridges, who finished with 21 points and seven rebounds in the Spartans’ loss to Arizona.
