The Indiana University running back duo of Tevin Coleman and Jordan Howard shined bright on Sunday in their respective games for the Falcons and Bears.
First for Atlanta, Coleman continued his breakout season with another touchdown on Sunday, finishing as the Falcons’ top receiver on the day (yes really).
Coleman finished with six carries for 31 yards and four catches for 132(!) yards and a touchdown.
Coleman’s touchdown:
49-yard catch from Coleman
48-yard catch from Coleman
For Howard, who we previewed prior to today’s game against the Colts, Sunday served as a coming-out party as he seized the opportunity in his start back in Indiana by running for 118 yards while catching three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown, setting a Bears’ record in the process.
Jordan Howard is the first Bears rookie ever to rush for 100 yards in each of his first two starts, by the Tribune's count.
