The Indiana Hoosier’s women’s basketball team look poised for a huge 2016-17 season. With the return of Tyra Buss and the continued improvement of the program, the Hoosiers were slotted for a third-place finish by both the coaches and the media on Monday.
On top of that, Tyra Buss was named to the preseason All-Big Ten team.

IU returns all five starters from a team that made the NCAA Tournament last season and finished 21-12, including a perfect 14-0 home record.
Last season, Tyra Buss averaged 18.8 points per game and earned First Team All-Big Ten honors. Fellow starters Amanda Cahill and Alexis Gassion return, bringing with them 14.7 and 11.3 points, respectively.
