INDIANA 24, MICHIGAN STATE 21: THREE THINGS

An overtime thriller under the lights in Bloomington gave Kevin Wilson his signature win at Indiana.

WE WON THE SPITTOON

Nuff said.

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

We could analyze this thing to death. There were some bad play calls, some bad decisions on 4th down, some missed kicks, a turnover, and so on. And none of it matters. Who knows if Indiana is the better team or if they just made less mistakes than the Spartans? And frankly, who cares right now?

This was a signature win for Kevin Wilson and his guys. Anybody who wants to take anything else away from this game, especially negative stuff, should just be quiet for a night or two.

THE DEFENSE IS WHAT WE THOUGHT THEY WERE

Good. They’re good. Tom Allen has this group clicking. And they saved the game in overtime after a heartbreaking final drive.

I care to elaborate no more because I want to just enjoy this win. More analysis to come in the next day or two.

We’re on to Ohio State.
