College basketball top 25: Indiana up to 17 coaches poll, 19 in AP poll

It's Indiana's highest mark since heading to Maui in November.

Indiana might not be playing the top of the Big Ten, but those nationally are taking note of the Hoosiers' continued accumulation of blowout wins.

The latest USA Today Coaches poll out today ranks the Hoosiers 17th -- only behind Iowa, Maryland, and Michigan State among Big Ten teams. The Hawkeyes, Terps, and Spartans are ranked 4th, 7th, and 11th respectively. The AP poll has the Hoosiers rising to the teens as well -- coming in at 19th. There, the Hawkeyes are 3rd, while Maryland and Michigan State each slide a spot back to 8th and 12th.

Notre Dame, ranked 25th in the AP poll, is Indiana's lone win thus far over a currently ranked team.

Here's one other fun fact: Indiana's now ranked ahead of Duke, Purdue, and Kentucky in both polls.
